BAGONG HENERASYON FOUNDATION INC.
Bagong Henerasyon Foundation, Inc. is a non-stock, non-profit, non-government organization that has been giving free computer training since August 2001 when it established its first community-based training center in Barangay Bahay Toro.
A year later, a grant from Aus-Aid PACAP, marked the launching of the first Computer School-On-Wheeals in the country allowing them to train students right at the very doorstep. This paved the way for another grant from APEC Digital Opportunity Center in Taipei that enabled the foundation to teach computer skills to persons with disabilities.
In 2006, it has accredited itself as a provider of call center training and has been successful in placing more than 1,000 graduates in the the different call centers. It initiated partnerships with TESDA and Rotary International District 3780 for the training of 3,000 scholars. In partnership with Labor Link, the first welding training center in Quezon City was established.
Through its efforts, the Quezon City Government will transfer Php8.2M to TESDA Q.C. for the training of 4,000 scholars. And just recently, through its honorary Chairperson, Councilor Bernadette Herrera-Dy, Mayor Sonny Belmonte has just agreed to put in counterpart funds for the establishment of the first Language Institute of the Philippines of TESDA.
